It's a Low Country Boil. We got no time for all those herbs. We use all those great spices...called Old Bay! Put some sausage in there! Atleast you got the newspaper on the table right. Dig In Folks!

Martha you never showed adding salt for flavor....we here in Louisiana alwayssss add salt at the end of the cooking time and let the shrimp soak for a few minutes...I didnt see you add any salt!!

Why not? It's butcher's twine. It's going to be boiled, so there won't be any kind of bacteria or toxins. It's also used to tie roasts, and poultry. Are you allergic? Seems you haven't watched many cooking shows, or read cooking books. What would you use instead of butcher's string madame (also called twine)?
