I think he is referring to using glue, resin, some kind of other adhesive, besides welding. I think other ways should be doable as well.

I believe I used 15 washers per start with 3 in the center the later 3 rows of 4 washers

On my welding table if your welding on like a wood table you will have to attach to the metal

Yea they are just regular washers from Lowe’s not the best metal to weld but it’s cheap
