She probably just left them pinned for the video. Michael Cinco gowns would have sewn the overlay lace to the satin then turned them inside out and pressed them flat. A lot of gowns with tiers like that with or without overlay lace are finished out by facing then sewing them right into the back center seam and in a princess seam in the skirt if it has one.
