Thank you! It may sound cliche but this is how I remember the game looking when I was a kid. The fact that it's now possible to "remaster" ps2 only titles for PC blows me away. No company would go through the trouble of relicensing vehicles, music etc to remaster a game and that's where modders stepped in and took it upon themselves. One of my favourite games now looks almost modern and I'm here for it. Thank you for your complete guide!

On my version of PCSX2 there is category named ''PATCHES'' there is everything you need from it like 60fps Widescreen fix etc.

I did want to just say that this game runs extremely well in 4k with no frame drops on my Xbox Series X (using dev mode) with the XBSX2 platform. I just got my emulator setup on there a couple days ago and I have been super impressed with the performance on there.

Can you emulate games on the XSX while also using it normally? I was thinking of picking up a Series S for emulation but if I can do it on my XSX and not mess anything up, I'd totally do it that way.

@@Kudo716 no, you have to have Dev mode enabled to be able to do anything like this. But it doesn't mess up anything on your console. It's a separate mode you load into so all your normal stuff works as usual. It's only $20 to get the rights to use it and it's super easy to setup. Just look up a tutorial on here. I would definitely recommend it. 😊

The widescreen fix has a small bug. The headlight for some reason, would cut off on the right side of the screen where the 4:3's right border is.

Some of the HD textures like the speedometer won’t load. It will still be pixelated. Can you tell me how to fix

the texture pack doesnt have all textures upscaled. things like the spedometer are depending on the colour you choose in the customisation. so, lets say if you wanted a HD speedometer, you would have to upscale the texture for all the colours for the speedometer if that makes sense

Hey man, cheats arent loading. Try to create a new .pnach file by going into 'tools' when the game is running, and then click on edit patches/cheats

What does the percentage in the top of the PCSX2 window say? It's possible you've accidentally activated the speed hack, which is one of the F1-9 keys iirc.

@@thomas92481 maybe your CPU is bottlenecking or your GPU if not then I don't know I have a 2080TI and a RYZEN 5 3600X and the 60 FPS patch and setting the CPU overclock to 300% works fine for me if you've got decent hardware and this issue still persists then make sure your 60FPS patch matches up with the games serial number otherwise the patch won't work. and also make sure the patch has been created correctly.

I believe there's two widescreen fixes in the discord. There is one for ultrawide, but unfortunately I don't think it's marked as ultrawide in the file name. Try using the other file.
