The reason the eng goggle patterns from sunwell sell so well is that they're part of a profession achievement where you need to craft most of the goggles in the game. 10 patterns and theyre all a pain in the butt to get. Farmed up 9 of them and sold off something like 30 duplicate patterns and just bought the 10th one I was missing.

Farming materials is great instant gold. Mats sell almost immediately. I do the trash farm in Firelands with a treasure finding potion and a skinner. I also send all greens and blues to my enchanter to DE. Those mats sell very quickly.

Recently, I farmed 100 transmogs from dungeons like Razorfen Downs and none of them sold. All stuff mentioned on KZbin videos. None sold on the Argent Dawn server. Not a single one. The problem is that everyone does the same thing at end game. We all solo these "highly lucrative" dungeons, and because we all solo them, we all end up doing the same thing, and it floods the AH with these items, which, sometimes, drives the price down, because they are everywhere. We watch video's like this, that say "Farm Zul'Farak", 50 other KZbinr's also say "Farm Zul'Farak". We end up, in droves, farming Zul'Farak. What happens? The AH gets flooded with transmogs from Zul'Farak, and we end up wondering why none of them sell. I am beginning to think that the mega gold farming through Transmogs is becoming a thing of the past.

@@zulan222 I just told you a month ago that I don't sell anything. The myth is that you need thousands of items to sell and to make money from. You don't. You can make money from one item, if it's the right item, if your lucky. Most of the items people farm will be vendor transmog junk anyway, so thanks for stating the obvious. If you spend a fortnight farming, 3 / 4 of the items farmed will end up being vendor trash. And if Razorfen Downs items are bad items, then why does every gold farmer tell you to go there? You look on most gold farming rotation video's, the top 10 dungeon farms in The War Within, and Razorfen Downs is always in it. One thing I can promise, is that NO ONE is hitting Gold Cap inside of 24 hours real time auctioning things off.

I'm not sure that I am going to re-sub any time soon either tbh. I have a backlog of other games to play right now. I can't keep sinking time into WoW, and neglecting everything else.

Great info, thank you :-) Which is better for sales, higher or lower population servers? Higher pop will have more competition but more potential buyers, lower pop will have less competition but fewer potential buyers. So does server population really matter?

Is it worth starting transmog farming when you play on a huge server? I play on the biggest server on EU and many of the items you pointed out are sub 5k. I guess I'd get more sales just for less?

I don't know, I'm back IG after a long while, and I'm seeing that in my very high pop server, transmog prices are way way higher than regional avg. Also, they rarely sell.

Hi from Italy!! Sorry for my english😂, have a question: i run every day these dungeon rotation and stack up more and more transmog gear. How to decide what is optimal to AH and what vendoring? Some item value is about 50/100 gold, is correct place in AH or is a waste of time? And for example ring, neck and bracers that not provide a really transmo is optimal place in AH? Tnx 😘

How do you Dreamwalk to get in and out of Zul Farrak?

As a druid, at the end of your run you cast Dreamwalk (You might have to unlock the skill) then reset the dungeon, then cast Dreamwalk again. You will be back at the Zul Farrak enterance and you run it again.

Druids have the Dreamwalk ability. You have to do the class hall questline in Legion and open the class hall to unlock the spell.

I enjoy dong the transmog runs. The problem is I can't move the stuff. I think I sold a pair of Glorious leggings years ago and literally that's been it. I've got a guild bank full of the stuff and no one is interested in buying it. I've been running Dire Maul recently for small flame sacs and ran an experiment. The stuff that supposedly sells for thousands I posted for hundreds. It still comes back. This item comes up as worth 150k....let's try it for 500 gold....nope, no one is interested. The mule selling the basics is killing it while the transmog mule can't pay the rent.

I've always wanted to make a lot of gold, just for the sake of doing so, but any time I've tried to play the auction house I've failed miserably. I've played WoW off and on since release, and this stuff can be SO overwhelming to try and take apart when trying to make gold. So I've decided I'm going to focus on transmog farming and give it a REAL go for the next month.
