For me, 90% of the fun of the game is buying and fixing up cars. The de-rusting, hammering dents and painting are good game mechanics, but I also love rebuilding engines, suspensions, and such. Making money in itself is pretty useless in the game, as you can really just use it to buy new cars and fix them up, so has never been a priority of mine. I would much rather spend hours rebuilding one of those free cars from the ground up, then to flip a few cars quickly and cheaply. When I was really strapped for cash I would buy a cheap junkyard car, fix up the engine and suspension the best I could, then when I was down around $500 left, and I realized I could not fully fix the car, I would fix the rust and paint, then just sell what I got done. With the $27000 you have plenty of money to buy, or find a free, Chad and fully fix it for a profit. I also love long form content it is why I got into DV so many years ago, as you all slowly built up bases and told stories over several episodes. So I would love to see you spend 5 or 6 episodes methodically rebuilding a car, like episode 1 you buy and bring home the car, episode 2 you rebuild the engine, episode 3 suspension, 4 body work (rust, hammer, body filler, paint, I do it all), 5 interiors, then sell it for $21,000+. It's not fast money and a chad might cost you $10,000-$15,000, but for me, that is the most rewarding experience I ever get in the game. I think your license plate was beyond repair, it looked alright, but sometimes the best looking parts are too broken and one much worse will let you hammer it out and attach just fine. Also you can buy new plates from the parts shop, and remember the parts are cheaper from there, though you still make a profit by adding parts form the garage's catalogue onto a car. I have never had any luck fixing grills, either, if it bothers me, I usually just buy a new one to plop on.

Yes I agree. I was just working up a decent amount of capital to be able to do a complete car. Wasn't sure how much I'd need...

@@AsqRob I was also wondering if things like quick fixes, and part runs to the junkyard might work for streams, then have a long build for youtube...since streams tend to be more join here and there and hang out, for a bit, and youtube tends to be more full series type content. Also, the game updates have slowed considerably from what they were, so you could even justify prerecording larger builds. I think the next month or so will probably be mostly survival changes, and a new Land Rover based on the Lad is in the works, but none of that would effect prerecorded content too much, if you went that rout.
