How to make Money Clips from a Copper Pipe | DIY

Hi there,
this time I made two money clips from copper that I reclaimed from an old pipe. I wanted to experiment with different type of finish so I went with a fully hammered texture on the one and a satin with the hammer texture only on the rim.
I'm looking at making more for sale on my Etsy store so look out for an update.

As long as there are a couple of them yes (2-3). Looking back I would probably use a spring steel or work hardened copper next time.

@@LetsPrepTogether a couple of what???? I made one out of aluminum can......the hardest part I found was how to get tension on two pieces of metal that can be bent past eachother

@@LetsPrepTogether how about like 40 bills? Or 100 Bill's? Is it possible to just use a bigger dowel to shape it?

@@stevenrobley1 I think the dowel was ok for a one off. For multiples i would make a proper bending jig. As for the amount it would depend on the dimensions and then go for spring steel.

@@stevenrobley1 i meant a couble of bills. I think aluminum doesn't have enough flex and simply bends instead of spring back to shape

That's a process to soften the copper.
