I also would have to give all the credit to my parents for making it possible and all the money they have helped me put into it! I’m only 12 but one thing I’ve learned is to have patience with it when you start it you usually won’t get a lot of sales it took me about 1 week or 2 to get the business going it started off really small and got bigger. My brother is a senior in high school and he’s pretty popular so one of His friends spend the night and asked to buy one then every body started buying them, I set up my own stand at the football game with my best friend who also sells stuff and we made quite a lot of money! Any ways the point is have patience and try not be all up in people face about your business, don’t put other small business down its really mean. 2. Don’t always go for the same person try to expand your Market slowly 3. Make you small business and try to have some suppliers before you start! That’s all hope that helps🤍

I absolutely love tutoring kids! I'm 13, so I tend to enjoy tutoring kids that are in elementary school. My absolute favorite thing to help with is basketball. I'm trying to get more experience under my belt (so far we've got an AAU spring/summer season + an upcoming fall AAU prep season and the school team) so that I can put out an ad for my neighborhood asking around if anyone needs any help. I won't charge super high so that parents would be more willing to have me come back. It's a decent idea and it's great for when you have a lot of little kids in your neighborhood and they can ask you to come whenever. I do enjoy helping little kids with history and science most of all, and teaching kids to read is super fun. I still don't do math specifically, but if it's asked for, I'll totally do it! I have a lot of fun tutoring

@@lorexin3 there are these sites where like they sell homework, notes, etc. and maybe there are also like planners you can sell. there are also sites like etsy you can sell sheets on. what i think people do when they sell these type of sheets is like post a picture of their pdf sheet with a lot of watermarks on a shop and once a person buys your sheet, you send them a link to the pdf sheet without the watermarks so they can print it out. so basically you just need the creativity to make these things and also a way to promote your work, also think of a design that will sell well.

I always help out at my church's VBS (Vacation Bible School) My parents do decorations and this year I helped out with pre-schoolers and kindergartners. It's super fun and an awesome way to help out the church!!! Plus, there are a few perks, like staying afterwards a few times with friends and pizza, plus Christian Guard (an awesome game) and getting really sugary (or healthy) breakfasts in the morning!!! I'm not a teen but I just want to commend you because your video is so well edited. I love the content and I love that you are empowering other girls and women to make their own money. I'm a 30 year old woman (when you get there, you'll realize its not THAT old lol) but I've been working since I was 12: babysitting, pet-sitting, mowing lawns, making and selling crafts, etc. I looooved making my own money because it gave me a sense of independence and helped me build my self-esteem. I love that you are encouraging "the young people" You clearly have so much ambition and left me feeling inspired. Also shout out to your mom! We love that she is helping and supporting a budding entrepreneur. Looking back, my own mother was invaluable in helping me pursue my own ambitions. She would come pick me up at all hours of the night from babysitting, help me gas up the mowers and often the one who helped me get the jobs in the first place. Keep killing it Lulu! We are rooting for you! ❤

FOR CANDLES :: definitely make them with beeswax and invest in cute mould and scents. Colouring can be with candles and good wicks. Wax is fairly expensive but it lasts u a long time. Btw I make candles a bunch lol.

@@c4rii i made flyers telling information about my business. i included my age (13), how well i do in school, a picture of me, and the cost of tutoring. then, i made a QR-code on the flyer that takes people to a google form so that they can sign up for my tutoring lesson. last, i printed out the flyers and put them on mailboxes in local neighborhoods!

I have another local business idea that I’m planning on doing, where if your particularly good at sculpting or art or crafts of any sort, you could make something, multiply the cost of the materials by the hours it took, round it up to the dollar, then youve got a product and a price. If your doing something automated the price and product wont vary, but if your hand making your products then they probably will vary.

I would say the best ways is to post on social media preferably facebook. You could make a post saying you will being tutoring for those who need the help and then add the town or city you live in and then any contact info. Or you could make a poster and staple it around where you live!

if you have younger siblings you could ask them to refer you to their friends/classmates and you can ask your friends to refer you to their classmates or even ask their siblings to refer their friends :)
