Y'all need to learn how markets work. Don't invest and then blow up the place, blow up the place and then invest. Attacking the business will cause the stock price to plummet, so buying stocks first just loses you money. Attack the store, wait until the stocks are at rock bottom, buy stocks, wait till the value recovers, sell for profit.

I did the same exact thing as him almost, but I lost money instead of gaining it. I invested 500k (all my money) and blew up the restaurant and fought cops till I died. When I got out of the hospital, I checked my portfolio and it said the stocks were going down, I threw a grenade on the floor and died and waited the next day to check again. I checked again, and the stocks were even lower than before, which continued until I decided to save my money and lost 80k. 😢

thats why you save your game before, so you can go back if you loose money

What you failed to do is before throwing grenades to yourself, check the price of the stock first. If it goes down, reload the previous save. If it goes up, save it. Rinse and repeat. Also you dont need to grenade yourself. You just need to go to your safehouse and go to bed 3 times (for franklin). Just go to bed then press cancel so you only move the time forward and not save the game. After you "sleep" three times, check the stock price. If it goes up, save your game. Sleep 3 times again. If it goes down, reload the save file. Repeat.

Kept happening to me too, it's a bug. So always pick the cheapest stock and buy one share. Then invest all your dough in the "good" stock, which will now show up in your portfolio.
