I've heard the same thing about target. Ran into a night time box truck driver running for target. He told me he gets paid 1k per day to haul local with target.

No tolls, no hotel, no stressed driver, Driver gets tips they are happy, so many benefits + local runs $5-30/ mile for last mile plus dock to dock is the way. However one disagreement the insurance is different: worker comp and liability DO NOT DO APPLIANCES customers make fraudulant claims all day!

Question. WITH A CLASS "C" YOU CAN DRIVE A 26FT TRUCK UNDER 26,000 LBS AND CANNOT CARRY MORE THAN 10,000 LBS, IS THAT CORRECT.? ALSO, IF IT HAS AIR BRAKES, REGARDLESS OF ABOVE, THEN YOU NEED A COP B CLASS MINIMUM.? P.S. THE BEST WAY TO GET YOUR CDL AT LEAST YOUR B CLASS, GO DRIVE PART TIME FOR A SCHOOL BUS SERVICE. THEY PAY FOR IT ALL AND IF YOU GIVE THEM A FEW MONTHS OF SERVICE,IE: 6 MONTHS, MOST, WRITE IT OFF. THAT'S HOW I RECEIVED MINE YEAR'S AGO.

Air brakes do not have in affect on the license requirement for non CDL trucks. Non CDL trucks need to have a GVWR of less than or equal to 26,000 The total combined weight of your truck and your load can never exceed 26,000 pounds. There is not specific "10,000 pound load limit" as long as your load + truck weight 26,000 pounds combined.
