I love the foundation of wisdom, introspection and uniqueness these suggestions are built upon. Most KZbinrs give us advices that I have heard several or a few times before; yours, however, I am completely new to. This video made me feel as if I were in a philosophy class. ❤

I was wondering, how do I landscape my day?

The most insightful comment for me is the distinction between wasting energy and wasting time. Just telling myself that the time I’ve spent on anything is not only important, but that it is in the past. If the final judgement was that ‘time’ was wasted, then I have to move on because I’m not going to reclaim it regardless how much I beat myself up. The concept of energy is important to me, because I’ve battled chronic illness and every day presents a challenge. My energy, like everyone else, is not inexhaustible. That helps me overcome the doubts tied to taking the time to just rest and recuperate. Thanks for this good video.

Kate, recently I've been making it part of my writing practice to listen to one of your coffee (or tea, rather) chats each morning, and it has been life-giving. We may come from opposite sides of the world and differ in so many ways, but your reminders of the importance of letting go of hustle culture, embracing our identities of being loved and treasured, and becoming grounded and closer to nature have been exactly what I need in this season. Thank you, friend. Sending love from Australia!

Wow, I have never heard that phrase before, Stop Before You Are Empty! Thank you so much for sharing this wisdom! I always feel like if I take the time to sit down and write I can't stop until I'm exhausted or I have all of my thoughts written down. I'm definitely going to start practicing this.

Your smile and this beautiful video, my friend, made my day! I enjoyed "The more IN THE LESS" as all of your meditations. I would love to see more meditations guided by you, especially focused on moments in which we feel too stressed to do anything. Moreover, I would like to know whether you ever feel like you can't devote yourself to writing because there are too many other things to do first. And in the end, eventually, you don't do either those things or you don't write, because the reality is that writing scares you and it's a practice that takes a lot of your energy and that you feel too tired to tackle. This happens to me several times and I would love to hear your opinion about it. Thank you for all your support!

Kate, I needed this. You read my heart and mind this morning, I was literally just thinking "I wish I could write more, but I don't know how to even try". I do have one question though: What do you mean by 'Is this serving me?" How can I tell if something is serving me or isn't? Thanks, Kate! I love your channel and my mental and emotional health is so at peace when watching you.

I send you all my gratitude for your words of kindness, friend 🙏🌻💛 I feel so blessed to know that the videos I make can help you. I would answer your question by saying that you could change the question "is this serving me" to... "is this bringing me joy and wellness?" I feel like they are the same questions, just put a different way. The things that serve us are the things that bring us joy and wholeness in our minds, bodies, and spirits. I hope this helps! Thank you so much for asking
