We will show the step by step process of making your own mud bricks. 🏡
Mud, as opposed to the popular view, is not a good insulator. We live in a mud house with 18" thick walls, which provides a high thermal mass and helps with temperature extremes we get during the day (cold nights, hot days) where we are. The bricks we make are 12" (instead of a 9" red brick). Mud is a very forgiving medium to construct with, and when you make any changes to the structure ... you don't create any debris or rubble ... you can just reuse the mud!
This is how we make the bricks.

Hey same! As an autistic Person I gotta make a village siitakkeita for autistic people in the woods! And Idk start a nation or you know a micronation. A micronation is a nation that is a country not recognized by the UN. Examples are: Molossia, Principality of sealand, Transnistria and more. But Thanks for the brick tutorial Now I truly belive that mud can be used as bricks.

@@lucas_A_Conway a year late but as a historian with an interest in geopolitics: Nation, State and country all have distinct and specialised meanings: Nation is a people/territory with shared culture, ethnicity and language (think entire island of Ireland) , A country is a distinct territorial area or political entity (think England), A state is an independent country ruling over itself and usually internationally recognized (think United Kingdom of Great Britain) Micronations are not nations unrecognised by UN because Taiwan is great example it's an unrecognised nation of 23+M but it is not a micronation. A micronation is a misnomer (name that does not suit what it refers to) but it's a self proclaimed country ran by small group of people who have a small piece of land and claim it's supposed sovereignty despite it's obvious dependence on outside world and often being inside another recognised state.

It isn't efficient. in most places you can't use bricks like this for a reason. They wear down quickly. A few decades, and the adobe brick walls start cracking, etc. and the house will fall. Also, it gets wet quickly. Oh, and I haven't mentionted mice and rats. They love these.

The house build from this bricks is very healthy, it will be cool in Hot season, warm in cold (winter and rainy) season. The big problem is Mouse, Mice. size of the wall is large width, i.e. minimum 18 inches. Ground and first floor may be constructed, not more than that. Plaster must be from this type clay which requires maintenance with interval of 5-8 years. Cement and sand plaster may be made with help of nails but plaster life is 15-18 years, after that remove plaster and once again make plaster. But any it is environment friendly bricks and home no wastage which can be reused. In kannada language (Karnataka one of the State of Union of India), the soil is called as "HALU MANNU" (HALU name or type of soil, MANNU means soil.)

Awesome work and thanks for sharing! Here in Kerala, it's difficult and costly to procure a compressed earth block (CEB) press (like the Mardini MB-2 out of Karnataka or the TARA Balram-MI out of New Delhi; so we're leaning towards earthbag and adobe for constructing a small Secure Storage / Seedbank / Storm Shelter. I like the dome roofs with the earthbags too! ECHO community has a great article on building Earthbag Seed Banks.

Hey,We have them make bricks of pure clay or a little sand, and mix with it soft wheat straw, dung or animal hair, or rice straw, and it must be burned well, until it comes out in the end white or yellow, not red like this, I hope you benefit from this information, I am looking for the way to make pottery, I want to know what they add to the clay to become a den, and there is no one to answer, I wish you a happy year for everyone greetings 🌹,

It's just mud. It will fall apart first heavy rainfall. You need clay and dirt and it has to be burned after it dries up.

to my understanding you would want to bake the bricks instead of sun drying them but ya i believe its a common thing.

I have a question. Do you need to heat the bricks in an oven or can they just bake out in the sun? I heard they need to be heated/baked or else if rain comes they will turn back into dirt.

Yes. They must be baked in a large oven after drying in the sun first.

Will it be possible to add rocks while making them and will make the bricks heavier?

I would add only sand if you're planning on firing the bricks, but I would use only straw or dry debris. Rocks can make it very heavy. I've been doing cob for a long time and rocks haven't been a major issue, but I'd use the rocks for cement as an aggregate.
