No creaming butter and sugar? I love these types of recipes. Makes everything so much easier. Also, I once made a Guinness ice cream. I think I’m going to have to dig up the recipe so I can make it to go along with this cake. I do have a question though. What do you think about using more Guinness and reducing it down to concentrate the flavor? Thanks.

For the cake it doesn't matter, but for the frosting you cannot use a spreadable butter as it will make a liquid frosting x
