When u held up the pan to the camera I backed away 😆 we make something similar to this here in Trinidad called pepper sauce but it’s made with raw peppers, raw garlic and other ingredients. And we also grow the scorpion pepper, one of THE hottest peppers in the world so u know we love our food spicy! We eat something here called “chow” which is mango - half ripe ( or golden apple, or pineapple or any fruit of your choice to experiment), scotch bonnet pepper (cut up), salt, lime juice, garlic, black pepper and most important, culantro. NOT cilantro, culantro. It’s soooo good!

Hi Latifs, I made this yesterday with my Evil Child - aka Loren. We both love Mr Naga & until up to about 8 months ago, when for some reason the quality control went away, most of the batches they now make are awful and sometimes inedible, (except Aug 2021) which was the best ever. I have contacted the company but no change sadly. We went again today to Cardiff and tried 3 different shop's with different batch numbers but to no avail. So we decided to make yours. Got all the stuff and nearly died making it. Now going to let it settle for a week in the fridge and see how it goes. We love your channel and hints 'n tips. Keep up the fantastic work! Love your videos when you go home too :)

This is a great recipe! I am growing Dorset Naga Chillies for the 2nd year and will use this later in the year. I am so pleased you shared this. I simply cannot wait to make and enjoy. It is so darned hard to find but I actually have mustard oil that is cleared by the FDA for consumption. Love every excuse to use it. I used to use the one called 'external use only' also but felt guilty. Lastly, Latif, beautiful person please be mindful of cooking directly in aluminum. I could say so much about that, but I shall stay my comments. I am aware that you are so often mindful of health. To protect yourself and those who eat from your loving hands...study up and see if you agree. I will keep watching, learning, enjoying. Cheers!

MashAllah I've always wanted to make homemade pickle! I will surely try this out InshaAllah. The smell must've been a killer, lol, since nagas are so severely hot and spicy! May be if you chopped up the nagas less thinly probably would've helped abit with the inhalation. Your mum is cute to be part of your project. One of the few videos i watched till the end lol

Looks delicious mate! Will have to try this. Quick question, I noticed you weren't using gloves when prepping the chilis, what do you find is the most effective way to clean your hands afterwards? I love cooking with chilies but I find that no matter how many times I wash my hands after handling them the spice seems to stay on my skin.

you are right, the scotch bonnets at ~300K scoville are in a different category from the "naga" chilis that are in the 1M scoville territory. naga chili peppers are easy to grow. they are quite forgiving and produce generous quantities of peppers. I have a dorset naga plant grown from seed. At 2 1/2 months, 20 green peppers already. Probably by 4 months, I should have plenty for making this recipe. seeds easy to obtain on amazon, etsy or ebay
