1 tablespoon nutmeg
2 teaspoons of baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
500g smart balance or margarine
8- 10 eggs

Delicious recipes but my mummy is a old baker and she said it’s the baking powder that makes the oil to foam so I reduced the baking powder and it worked.

I love all your cooking skills so far but my first trial on the chin chincame out well thou i had lots of chin chin breaking.so i decided to try the second time, this time the chin chin totally scattered inthe oil and looks like soaky and soft. Pls what went wrong?

Very true reducing the quantity of flour when rolling out and cutting helps reduce the foaming of the oil when frying. Well done this was a lot of work
