Awesome project. Not a knock, just some safety facts. Those wires are NOT meant for straight 220/120v wall plug power. They will melt and they will cause a fire. And soon! Normal lamp wires aren’t hard to find or expensive. Simple non-flammable sprays and hardeners are available to spray over this that may give you a 2 min warning, before flames. It’s easier and safer to use thin plywood, stacked veneers, real and proper wiring rated for your country’s guidelines. The rice paper shades are what they are and used in lamps all the time. Or use thin acrylic painted. It may be a decent mock and proof of concept to do this style first to prove it, find places you’ll hit problems, or make improvements. But don’t use this uncoated and improper with the electrical wires. You will have a fire. Not a doubt. It WILL happen and soon.

All ingredients are FLAMMABLE! The cardboard paper is flammable. The lampshade is flammable. The glue is flammable. Please write on the lamp 102 That's the fire fighters' phone number. Just in case... Beside of these, nice lamp.

Attention to this video who want to make it and make sure just add some fuse on it and must be 13A, then its safe😁. Maybe the wire look weak but if you add some fuse 13A,it won't burned on heat. 13A was the electricity of controlling the power source😊.

This is absolutely awesome!! I love your creativity. I enjoyed how easy it was to make it but yet so personal and individual. I would have painted the legs and base black and that would have given it a totally finished look. All n all, this is an amazing and exciting project.
