It's time you make brownies with olive oil! This is by far our favorite brownie recipe because it's deeply chocolatey, gooey yet fudgy and just perfectly sweet.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
- 8✕8-inch square metal baking pan (not a glass dish)
- Parchment paper (foil will also work)
- White whole-wheat flour: adds health without tasting like health!
- Cornstarch: this creates a tender crumb.
- Kosher salt
- Baking soda
- Granulated sugar
- Olive oil
- Large eggs: make sure to use eggs labeled as large. Aka, not medium and not jumbo.
- Pure vanilla extract
- Special dark cocoa powder (Dutch-processed will also work)
- Espresso powder (optional, but it does enhance the chocolate flavor).
- Dark chocolate chunks or chips
- Flaky sea salt (optional)
