Hello Urvashi, thank your the video for this gorgeous flower :-) When you you list "Double Crepe Paper" - do you mean extra thick or the crepe paper that is tow-layered? Thank you again!
@urvashigupta62888 жыл бұрын
Thank you so much for you kind words. Double crepe paper is basically 2 sheets of crepe paper joined together, so you can have different colors on both sides of sheet. It is also called duplex or doublette crepe paper. Hope this helps.

Actually one of the things you can do with Extra Fine, or pretty much any of the lighter papers, is to make your own Doublette crepe. Just take the two colors you want to use, and fuse them together. It's a lot easier to do than it is to explain it. Anyway take your first colored paper, and lay it flat. Now you can use a glue stick, spray adhesive, or a sheet of fabric interfacing. If you use the glue stick, or the spray adhesive, you want to use only enough to fuse the sheets of crepe together. If you use too much, you might change the color of the paper. So after you've applied the glue, place the second sheet on top of the first one. Then use either your hands, or a rolling pin(use one dedicated to this, you don't want to use it for food,)and press the sheets together, then let them dry. With the fabric interfacing, you cut a sheet of the interfacing the same size as your crepe paper. Sandwich it in between the two crepe paper sheets, and iron them together per the instructions on the interfacing(again, use an iron dedicated to your crafting)DO NOT USE A STEAM SETTING. I hope that you find this useful.
