Many thanks for your kind comment. The bamboo I got from a garden center. They’re used as plant stakes. The puncher I got from a craft store. They come in many varieties nowadays. Pardon sa delay in replying po. Hindi ko ginamitan ng plastic ang Parol On the video. I used tissue paper or papel de Japon. If your interested in using plastic, cellophane wrappers would be the way to go. Hope this helps and thanks for checking out my channel. Looking forward to your continued viewership

I'd love to make a parol for my mum! I noticed your bamboo seemed to be split in half though, how do you do this?

[@ACORNHILL]

It’s was fairly easy to do. With a sharp craft knife, I split the canes by gently tapping the knife through the diameter/ width of the bamboo stake. It only took me an average of 5 minutes along the length of each 2-foot piece of bamboo stake. Then I soaked/submerged the split bamboo in a tub of water (completely covering the stakes). This allowed for the bamboo to be malleable and easy to bend and shape. Hope this helps and I hope you get to make bamboo for your mum. Tag or let me know how it works out! 🙋🏻‍♂️
