That $725 is a steal to get started on something that brings in that much money. I finally got around to playing again this weekend with my wife. Being able to skip the tutorial gives you some basic tools, and saves a bunch of time on non-ranching tasks. I can see a game where you just do oil and bees, and have some cats.

I harvest oil from my two oil rigs every other day, as the bears are a problem in the areas where my rigs are located, so I always save just before going to get the oil to get $1000. I use the original vehicle exclusively for getting oil with 2 oil barrels and 2 Jerry cans in the back. The chicken coop and other goods are the tutorial rewards (mentioned in the title card when you don’t play the tutorial). If you don’t attend to it with food and water, the chicken die.

Loving the game play, just not sure I am loving the 'drill oil, make easy money' message the game makes to impressionable minds! We live in changing times. Any solar or wind power we can buyild and export from in the game?

I do hope they bring in some kind of electrical system with wind and solar, but I don't imagine EVs are going to be a thing. Anyway, it's not the best way to make money in the game, just something to tick over the account until you can get into cheese and sausage.

I had a Million Dollars and built a village on my last save. It wasn't on the new unreal 5 engine though. I suppose I'll have to do it all over again.

it is possible that they removed it? in my book there isnt a oil pump. or do i have to finish a quest befor i get it?

I'm not sure. I was playing on the development branch. It might be in the update that comes out on 3 November.

It's on the unreal engine 5 update so if you're running the unreal engine 4 it's not there
