I have a question - if I have a recipe for oven baked donuts, can I put this creme inside them before baking them? This is what I do with this recipe with other fillings, so is it ok with this one as well? (Thank you in advance. I’ll definitely use this recipe one way or another, In Sha Allah. ❤)

Thank you for the question. I’ve never used this recipe to fill and bake, but I believe it would be ok…. It may thicken in the oven, which is my only concern. So it might turn out like a baked custard. It’s better to bake the donuts first then fill them, that way the pastry cream is creamy… I hope this helps. 😀 Please subscribe for more delicious recipes.
