I just tried and reacted to a store bought version of this. I didn’t realize the yolk was supposed to be salty. That part surprised me. Great video! It’s cool to see how they’re made.

Hi,, i tried this recipe and i loved it! I read your blog it can frozen, how to do after frozen cooked mooncake pastry ? After thaw can i oven again so the pastry still crispy ? Thank you

I would just thaw them in the fridge. When I plan to eat them, I would lightly toast them in the oven (you can also use a microwave, but only for a few seconds) so it warms up slightly. The pastry won't be very crispy but still taste good. You can always bake it a bit longer to let the top to crisp up again.
