Hint - when your layer is alpha locked you can tap on it in layers menu and use Fill Layer, it will fill selected color, no need to use the Pencil manually.

It really isn't, especially if you work with only a few colours. Or, you can also draw everything in the same layer, if you don't plan to make different swatches later. Hope you will give it a try! :)

Really helpful video! I kinda got lost at the end to change the colors. I duplicated the group unchecked the bottom one change color but it’s drawing over the pattern instead of changing the color. Also the grid is still there I don’t know what am I doing wrong? Thanks

Did you alpha lock the layer? You can do so by swiping the layer with two fingers. Another option is adding a new layer above and applying “clipping mask”. when you drag drop a colour to this new layer, the colour will apply to the layer (below the clipping masked layer) Hope this helps! 😊
