Thanks! The original Le Male was my go to back late 90s. I dont like the new formula. Its a shadow of it self unfortunately. Im not a perfumer but love the industry. Maybe one day ill get myself to start formulating. If you or anyone out there knows where I can get a pre mixed version of this or who offers the original bottled formula. Please let me know. Thanks for your work Ryan. Very calming and informative!

Really enjoying your channel Ryan and your calm voice is so asmr. PS loved the BR540 version, would love to try it but alas I am in Australia and we don't have access to the vast materials you have over in the US. I have created my own BR540 version and pretty happy how it turned out as I get asked to make it for friends. ( I don't sell I just give it away) Again your channel is wonderful and I joined when you had about 640 subs, let's see it grow to 100k!

Hello Ryan, Thank you again for the quality of this video. This made me want to redo this formula, so I bought the formula from “creative formulas”. However, this one doesn't quite match yours. For example in mine there is Traseolide from fixative 505e (firmenich), Silvial and cyclamen aldehyde. On my formula the Thyme is red and not white. It would be interesting to compare our two formulas if you're interested. 😉

What a simple Formula and the result smells like holiday in a haystack! Impressive the massive amount of Coumarin and also Lillial and Lyral in this perfume. No wonder, the current version (the one that doesn't breaks with almost every IFRA specification ever made, hehe) certainly won't smell anything like this formula. To my taste, it is way too much Coumarin, but everyone likes it a bit different than another. Btw. I just was scrolling through the IFRA restrictions, specifications and prohibitions, impressed by the amount of materials which have made it into the 49th and now also the 51st amendment. If that continues like this, pretty soon perfumes will be made with alone purified water and not even contain alcohol! No wonder, actual perfumes smell dull and boring and don't have anything common anymore with the glorious creations from some 20 or 30 years ago. How lucky are we, still being able to recreate the odorous artwork of that time! Keep on bringing them formulas Ryan! Have a great time and greetings from Buenos Aires! (hehe, "Buenos Aires" of the 90s, where the still is a whiff of the glorious times of opulent perfumes, hahaha)

I've heard stories of European regulators that simply wish to ban all perfumes. What a shame. Glad to see you back in the comments. Always a pleasure to hear from you!
@manubaires53768 ай бұрын
Well, then we also would have to ban cosmetics, flavored soft drinks, soup baggies, McDonald's, bred, air freshener, purified water 💧, fancy clothes from China, or India, or the USA, and basically everything the modern world offers us. So, why not? Let's go back to the caves we came from and wear our natural perfumes, hehehe 😂. BTW. Love your impressive wall of raw materials 🥰. My collection is about the half or a third of that. Would like to have more variety, but importing to Argentina still is a bit tricky and expensive (50% of taxes added!). So I remain on what I can get here or when I travel outside of the country. 😢

Very nice!😁 Given the health concerns with Lyral an Lilial. How would you replace them, Lilyflore?, does it make a huge difference?
@RyanParfums2 ай бұрын
I would use the lyral and Lilial replacer accords that you can buy from multiple sources. But if you’re looking for a one-molecule solution, there are many available: Lilyflore, Silvial, Florol, Meijiff, Hydroxycitronellal, etc,.

Hello Ryan, thanks for these fantastic video you share for free!! Just a question: where can i find the formulas you follow during the videos? Thanks in advance!!
@RyanParfums7 ай бұрын
They come from a myriad of places, e.g. Reddit, patents, other perfumers, free formulas from formula sellers… Sometimes I’ll post a link to the formula, particularly if I feel strongly that the link will be valid for a long time to come. Other times I will simply describe where I found it. If you look, you’ll start to find formulas in many different places.
@francescoberzioli45797 ай бұрын
@@RyanParfums thank you so much for the explanation! My question was just to understand where I could find the formula you follow during the video so as to follow them as you add one by one all the materials, knowing also the amount of each compound because without that information it would not be possible to replicate the formula. It would be great if you could share the formula or put the link in the description of the page where to find it (even if you bought it, I don't mean having it for free, just share the link where to buy it prior watching the video) to make us understanding what you mean while you describe what you do..

Hi Ryan. I have a problem. I have 2 favourite blends where i created myself for the past 4 month. Smells great, however : 1.The opening is slightly harsh, spicy and not as smooth and sweet as i thought. 2. Performed okay but it doesn't have the sparkling quality to it, what i meant is , the smells that associated with all designer or even nich perfume. Galaxolide helps but not enough. Ambrox super is otw btw, hope its help

Alas, the formula is the formula. The reason I have that stacked wall behind me in the video is so I could stay as true as possible to the formula. I’m not yet skilled enough to reformulate using different materials. That said, as formulas go, this one is on the simpler side.
