Hi henry. In your own preference which one would taste better for joojeh kabob, Thigh or Breast? Also, is grilling it on charcoal gives it better taste? Hope to hear from you. Thanks
@HenrysHowTos6 жыл бұрын
From a chefs point of view, thigh is much much better and juicier. Charcoal does put that smoke taste into it I personally prefer breast as I don’t like the texture of chicken thigh
@sarat85776 жыл бұрын
@@HenrysHowTos I hear you. I can't stand thigh meat especially when its boneless

Delicious, definitely going to give it a try. I'm curious, are you Persian, or Armenian-Persian?
@HenrysHowTos8 жыл бұрын
Xerxes02 I am Armenian brother, but Persian Armenian :)
@behradh8 жыл бұрын
OOOOhhh! So that explains your looks and slight accent! Because I was confused by the sheer amount of Persian foods you make and how skilled you were when putting koobideh on sikh! Do you know Persian? Damet garm pesar! کارت درسته!
@Xerxes028 жыл бұрын
Nice, I'm Persian myself and have nothing but love for Persian Armenians. They have contributed so much to Persian culture, and are some of the best artisans I know (including chefs :) ). Keep it up bro

This is an interesting variation. I grew up with my dad's recipe being: chicken, lemon juice, puree onion, salt and saffron. I'm marinating your recipe right now. I'm curious to see how it tastes. Great channel!

Traditionally they like to keep it simple, Same with my Dad. I made the variations to intensify the flavour :) Good Luck!

@@HenrysHowTos Wow, so I found this recipe of yours 6 years ago and it's the only way I do it now. Made it for my dad a few months ago before he moved overseas (retired to Thailand) and didn't tell him it's a different recipe -- he loved it! I sent him your channel and told him if he ever gets homesick for Persian food, whip up any of your recipes and you'll be golden.
