*I am sharing a usefull information for those who can't render in 4k or takes forever for rendering in it* 1) First of all u must have a usb drive of atleast *8gb* [ 16 or 32 gb is recommended] 2) Plug in the usb and right click on it . Go to *format* and choose *NTFS* file system and format the usb drive 3) after formatting , go to *propertise* by right clicking the usb drive icon in file explorer menu. 4) Go to *readyboost* option in properties If you are doing this for first time then it will check if this usb drive can be used for readyboost or not 5) if the drive can be used as readyboost then tick the checkbox which shows *use this device* 6) set the amount for readyboost as maximum . And apply the settings 7) here you go. You will see that *seemusic will not stop while rendering in 4k and it will work flawlessly*

@@APPianoMusic Thanks for sharing. When I tried Aleksander's setup on a raspberry pi zero, I had latency issues. Hence using the LEDs and a little programming, I implemented a static lighting (now already a feature) that you currently see in my videos. After a lot of struggle to solve the latency, I finally gave up in vain. That is when I saw your dad's tutorial on successfully running it on a pi zero. That inspired me to redo the entire process on pi zero and finally solved the latency issue! And am pretty excited to have my next video with gorgeous dynamic lighting. Thanks to you!

Here's a tip for the people who don't want to buy an audio interface- I use Fl studio 20, which provides an option to record midi with sustained notes (the pedal). You can find software to setup your keyboard to send midi data to 2 software at once- The DAW (Fl studio here) and the midi for visualisation (included in see music itself). Both the midi recordings are practically dot same, except one has very long notes due to the pedal. Use this to render the piano sound in Fl studio using either a free VST plugin, or get a paid one by -pirating- paying for it. This will render a piano sound that will 99% times be better sounding than your keyboard's stock sound, with a 100% better recording quality, since nothing is being recorded in the first place. Use the smaller midi to render the visuals, and replace it's audio with the better one you just exported from your DAW.

How did you align the video sound with the midi sound
@APPianoMusic4 жыл бұрын
Are you using after effects or Seemusic? In After effects you can align free by frame with audio waveform and in Seemusic you can set the offset. If you need more help, hop on over to my discord. There's many folks there who can help

Did you fix the video camera to the computer while recording midi?
@kthongachilo4 жыл бұрын
Offset? How do I fix it if there is a gap of 24s or 1: 24min in the video from the midi.

Another way you can record your music/make a MIDI file is use FL Studio, and use the free version of it. You can install a Grand Piano, or use the ones that are included. And record yourself, by pressing "Notes and automation", while recording yourself playing. You obviously need a MIDI cord, I got mine off of Amazon, and it works really well. It only costs 17$.

Is there a big difference if you just use the audio from the midi?
@APPianoMusic4 жыл бұрын
It depends on how you process the midi to generate the audio and what is a acceptable audio quality for you. Lot of folks use midi's for generating audio and are perfectly happy with it. Some folks will use VSTs within a DAW to generate Grand Piano sounds from the midi while others use just the free software to generate the audio. It purely depends on what works for you. I'd say before investing in anything, check the outcome of what you've already got and see if it works well.

@APPianoMusic3 жыл бұрын
There shouldn't be any noise. Are you using the H4n microphone to record?
