🔴 How to mount a curtain rod ▶︎ • 🔥 Cómo Hacer CORTINERO...
✅ If you are going to do some PLADUR work, and you are going to choose to hire a company that does it, I have created a brief guide to help you analyze the budget and avoid common deceptions in the sector.

In this video you can see how I mount the plasterboard ceiling in what will be a bathroom. In this case the owner did not want to put insulation on top of the roof.
I always recommend putting it on. Now you will spend a little more on materials, but over time you will have greater savings on heating and air conditioning. You will have better acoustics in the house.
In this case the materials we will use are:
U-profile
Profile f47.
Sierra profile (toothed)
12.5mm water-repellent plasterboard.
Metric threaded rods 6
M6 Brass Studs: amzn.to/3zSYeWZ
Nuts for M6: amzn.to/3BUVni3
5mm plastic plugs: amzn.to/3eAevaV
4x35 Screws: amzn.to/3xPaWVS
MM screws.
25 drywall screws: amzn.to/3hOzoB4
Tools we usually use:
One level: amzn.to/3BgU8cD
Laser level: amzn.to/3rGZqK2
Laser level: amzn.to/3rGUQeD
A pen: amzn.to/3rmnLVu
One meter: amzn.to/3etCB7h
A cutter: amzn.to/2VS7xrb
A pencil: amzn.to/3zbzI2P
A drill: amzn.to/36IMtFJ
5 Bit: amzn.to/3eRsU2P
A screwdriver: amzn.to/3exW4nm

Hello friends! Today we are going to see how to make a PLADUR CEILING with Sierra Profile in a BATHROOM hole.
In this case, for the height we take the window as a reference.
For the perimeter we use a U profile. We put a screw in the center to hold it.
When drilling, we have to pay attention to whether the pipes go down towards the wall.
We drill at a distance from the pipes.
In this case I have to make a curtain rod, so I will leave the U behind.
If we do not need a curtain rod, we have to reach the window with the U.
We drill more or less at a distance of about 30cm.
In the information box I leave you a link to make a curtain rod.
As we will use a saw profile, we make some marks every 95cm on the longest sides of the bathroom.
We measure the length of the saw profiles.
We cut in the center of the tooth so that later we have the f47 profile at a distance of 50cm. We leave that fold in case we want to fix it to the wall, but when placing a rod nearby it is not necessary.
We bend the tooth a little so that it rests on the U.
We must make sure to put the saw profiles against the same wall where we have previously cut the profile on the tooth.
To place the rods, we drill about 30cm from the wall more or less, and between one rod and another I advise you not to separate more than 1m.
We take the measurement of the rod. For that we measure from the slab to the laser line and give it 1cm more.
We use metric 6 rod with brass studs.
To tighten it, we bend the rod, put it in the hole and turn it. Normally when pressed it makes a sound. This helps us know when it is tight.
We put the rods in the holes of the saw profile.
We screw a nut on it.
We hook the first f47 profile 50cm from the wall and the next one 50cm from it.
We cross them one to each side.

To join one with the other we use a leftover piece of profile f47.
Once all the profiles have been placed, we level the ceiling. We check that the f47 profile is about 2mm above the laser line, we approach the lower nut, then the upper one and tighten.
Once leveled, I advise placing a layer of wool. It will help thermally and acoustically. In this case the owner decided not to put it. I always recommend putting it on. Now you will spend a little more on materials, but over time you will have greater savings on heating and air conditioning. You will have better acoustics in the house.
We take out a measure to cut the plates.
We mark and cut passing a cutter.
To help us support the plate, we nailed some spikes to the wall.
The screws go more or less at a distance of 24cm.
For the electricity pipes I make a mark on the plasterboard. In this way, when we open the focus hole, we know where they are.
We measure on both sides because the measurements can always vary a little.
We cut the length and then the width of the plate.
