Ooh, I'm definitely trying these with a little adjustment. Instead of using just five(?) strips, I'm going to try ten and make two layers, with the top row shorter than than the bottom 😊

I made a similar poinsettia flower with burlap. I taped the edges with scotch tape that sort of glittered. I also painted the flower center with gold glitter glue from the dollar tree.

I just bought some polka-dotted ribbon today at Dollar Tree. I had not seen it there before but I just got into buying ribbon for certain projects. Also today I got in some hair pins that have beautiful pearls and crystals on the end. Its June, but I was going to make my mom a flower arrangement of some kind for her birthday. I had found a cool that'll that stone crock and I painted it with some milk paint and made some clay embellishments but wanted something unique and fabric to add to it before I put in the hydrangeas. I think I'm going to try to make one of those with the white dotted and use a hair pin with the pearls and crystals! too bad you don't have your comments set at pics or I would add one when I finished to show you my summer version. Thank you for a wonderful idea! I may try it with the Chevron too!
