I still speak with much of that old college gang (John/Sosh/Lyle etc) and we still often speak about what a great experience college was, a big part of that was undeniably thanks to you. I've been trying to emulate a jungle like style (similar to Phil Collins or Simon Phillips) so I used Toms and ghost toms instead of hihats so its nice and dark. I'll try and share it with the community too! Fingers crossed for some sun but it is the wet coast :p awesome to hear from you Kate, send my best to Ray! 😁

I've always wondered how the hell you djent guys memorize all that polymetric stuff and are able to play it just like that... Are you just counting and thus know where every odd meter should start or rather feel it so you don't have to count? I've listened to many songs including such rhythms and still having a hard time getting in sync with it, my mind cannot spot where the "one" of every odd time meter bar lands (no problem with 4/4 backbone though) in the whole track.
