You can dehydrate them outdoors in hot countries. Leave them on a tray, under the sun for a few days.

How long do these spices last? I want to make it in large quantities.
@WholeElise4 жыл бұрын
Great, I'm glad you'll give it a try! If they're fully dehydrated, they'll last as long as regular spices - usually around 2 - 3 years, although I usually run out before I get to that point! 😅 If you store them away from sunlight in a tightly sealed jar it'll prolong their shelf life.

Love. Is there a shelf life for this seasoning?
@WholeElise4 жыл бұрын
They should last as long as any store bought spices (between 2 - 3 years), as long as you manage to completely dehydrate the spices you shouldn't have any problem with the shelf life. Although I've always run out before then lol. Thanks for watching 😊

Brilliant!!! I'm definitely going to try this. Can you make powdered beetroot using the same method?
@WholeElise4 жыл бұрын
Absolutely! I'd cut the beetroot into pretty small piece - around the same size as the peppers because it's a denser vegetable so it'll take longer to dehydrate but it'll work just as well! 😊
