This was very well laid out, informational and on point video. I loved it and will write down many tips from this video. GJ.

I do mine pretty much the same way. A jojan strait clamp is pretty handy to hold the feathers when grinding the quill

I had a jojan straight clamp but I had to lend it to my dad. I agree, that would be great for this.

Just curious if you have a recommendation for a feather supplier? Thank you great videos!

Check eBay. I've bought good feathers there for a good price. Look for turkey primaries.

How do you determine left or right wing? I've seen how before, just need a reminder. Thanks Weylin.

If you're looking from the back/nock end and there's more quill on the left side it is a right wing feather. If there's more quill on the right side and it forms an "L" it is a left wing

I've never cared. I even put right and left wing fletchings in the same arrow. Never had a problem. They always shoot straight as can be. I make then native style with a pinch grip nock

i peel the feather. my friend showed me that its easy to put it on stripped feathers with super glue. attatch the rear of the fletch and let it dry then you can pull the fletch taught and put a bead of super glue on it and let it run down the quill and glue to the shaft. i like straight fletching using the super glue.
