I love your video tutorials. You are a true artist and it shows in the delicate and beautiful representation of the flowers you create. Using the narrower strips gives the flower heads an even more realistic appearance. And a total plus to me is the lovely bird song (canary?) that is present in all you present. You have become my favorite artist and teacher. It will take some more practice but I'm working on it. Thank you ever so much for sharing your impressive quilling skills.

How do you cut those strips..I mean from my machine I only can cut 3mm.so it’s not working like your beautiful work.actually you are an amazing artist.it’s soo natural and beautiful..love your videos

New sub here. Thank you so much for your tutorials. I LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS ONE ESPECIALLY!!! I have two questions about this orchid. 1. What type of glue do you use to cover the petal surface (my go to glues are Aileen turbo dry tacky, Aileen clear gel, scotch’s tacky glue ) and 2. if the glue is covering the entire petal, won’t it prevent you from being able to paint it or at least make it where the watercolor or pastel will look chunky and not evenly distributed? I used pva glue,local brand.FOX brand(Im from Indonesia).

2.It happens often, so it will be more easy to use inkpad for coloring the covered glue petal.But if you are used to it then soft pastel and ink pad are great combo for coloring your quilling project

@@Husnul-Khatimah thank you so much for the PVA tip. I’m going to get some from Amazon. I just saw another creator using 50% glue 50% alcohol mixture while making 3-D quilled roses. Have you ever heard of/tried something like this? 🧐I’m going to make an attempt….Thanks again 😘🙋🏼‍♀️

Yes,I have.That mixture can speeds up the drying process Almost forgot to tell you,I mix my glue with water because my glue is too thick

It also looks like you're using a 2 mm or 3 mm strip, when you say to use a 5mm, so I'm not sure on that eighter.

I'm trying to make this orchid, and I'm not sure on the lenght of the strips. If I punt in to change cm to inch @ 29,7 that come up to a littler over 116 inches. or if I put in 29.7 that's a little less then 12". What would be the right lenght of each strip? Thank you
