I made these last night. Very worth the time, although I look forward to making them again so I can get them more evenly sized next time. I added some different flavourings into different colours. They're all flavours that go together but it has candy floss, lemon, and vanilla.

I tried making these earlier today. They came out good, but they tasted more like regular homemade bread and less like bagels. What could I have done wrong? I made the door according to directions. I boiled them in a pot of boiling water with brown sugar in it first, 2 minutes on one side and 1 minute on the other. After that I put them on a cookie sheet lined with cornmeal and baked them for 25 minutes. I can't figure out what I could have done different? They were still tasty though!

Hi, would you ever consider making anything rainbow but not with food dye? Several people in my family are allergic to typical food dyes (red #40, yellow #6, etc). Would you ever make a video using things like beet juice or purple sweet potatoes to dye the food? :)

I watched another video and he said that adding salt instead of sugar to the boiling water stops the bagels going brown. I'm thinking about the purple part going brown. The ones this guy did stayed bright purple.
