Here's some of the ways I approach creating realistic renders in Blender 3D. This is less of a technical approach (i.e modeling and texturing) and more of a 'reverse engineering' approach. Focusing on things like applying the digital artifacts and noise from our smartphone photos onto our renders, setting up scenes to look like every day snapshots and not staged scenes 'showing off our work', and using photo textures to get quick and simple realistic models.
