5/12/24: Happy Mother's Day, Dawn! This is an adorable project which I'm going to try today. From one crafter to another, whenever I use magnets, I always, as a rule, not only secure them down with Art Glitter glue, but once they're in place, I also use a strip of Scor double-sided tape on top just to secure it further. Additionally, the sleeve piece underneath the pad, I would place a decorative piece of designer paper on top of the plain paper as well leaving a 1/8" border around it. I know it's not gonna be seen until it's time to change it, but as an extra-added touch, when removed, it looks finished. And again, I would use some Art Glitter glue around the edges and middle section of the sleeve piece for extra-added strength. (I'm all about the details in anything I make.) Thank you so much for inspiring me with this project. I'm excited to get busy and I'll let you know how mine turned out. If you're a mom, have a wonderful day celebrating you!

I’m new to your site. I was looking for a covered book and I liked the idea of the magnetic cover. I really enjoyed watching you. I will be back to make one when I get the supplies.

looks like the magnet doesn't want to stick very well

@@jessicae7229 using slightly larger magnets (3/4") works better, I just didn't have any at the time of filming
