Hiya!!! I still enjoy your videos!!! :) May I ask, what is the ratio of hardener to resin? Also, how long does it usually take for the resin to harden? How do you know when you can remove it from the mold? Thanks!!!! :)

Ratio: it'll depend on what hardener you are using. Some ratios are 1:1, 2:1, 3:1 and vice versa, so read the packaging Curing: it takes usually 24 hours. You can take it out but sometimes I could still be soft and bendy, so give it some more time before adding wire and etc. Yes I'm answering this a year later lol

Yes i do it indoors but i make sure the room is well ventilated. I open my windows and turn on the fan to allow proper air ventillation ☺️

Beautiful 😍. Question so I've been making these for about 3 weeks or so and I noticed that on the bottom side I will get air bubbles. Not on the top since I'm either using a lighter, heat gun or alcohol. Do you know of any other tips I could use so I won't get air bubbles. Thanks

I also experienced that before! What i did was after mixing the resin and hardener on a silicone cup, i submerged the cup into a hot water until air bubbles disappeared! You can try this too! 😊

You can also try spritzing it with 91% isopropyl alcohol. It pops bubbles well and you don’t risk damaging your mold with heat.

These look beautiful! I am relatively new to resin and when I make these I can’t get the flowers to stay down or even the gold flakes I find poking out the top. How do you keep them in?

Try to pour the resin just half of the mold first. Then put the flowers and gold flakes. Press them until they stay down. Lastly, pour again the resin to fill the mold. Keep pressing the flowers until it stick to the bottom. I hope this would help. ☺️🥺

Is it possible to place the flowers in the mold first and then pour in the resin? I've also seen ppl mix the glitter/gold flakes straight into the resin

I tried putting the flowers first before. But i've noticed that there were a lot of air bubbles trapped below the flowers which you can't see. Then after curing, they became tiny holes in the resin. 😢 Yes you can mix glitter/gold flakes straight into the resin too ☺️

hi i tried making a resin bookmark with uv resin, with the exact same moulds you have in the vids and for some reason my bookmark turned out curved. do you know why that happens? the mould is on a flat surface at all times even when curing but for some reason it just came out bent. any tips?

Did you used UV lamp when curing it? I haven't tried UV resin on my keychains, bookmarks, and combs so i don't know why that happened. 😭 Maybe you should try doing it with epoxy resin next time ☺️

question: I make these all the time and fine that my bookmarks comes out a little bendy. Now mind you, I measured my 2 parts correctly and they sit for about 7 hours. Should they be hard after that amount of time? When you remove your bookmarks have you ever experience any softness or do they ALWAYS come out super hard?

I used 2:1 resin to hardener ratio. And i used digital scale to measure ☺️

It means that in every 2g of resin, you need to add 1g of hardener. In making bookmarks, i use about 8g of resin and 4g of hardener. Just always remember that the measurement of the hardener is always half the measurement of the resin.

Right after mixing po ba ng hardener and epoxy, ilalagay na sa molder? No need to rest para mawala yung bubbles? I tried 60gms:40gms ratio as instructed sa label ng epoxy. Kaso nag aayos pa lang ako ng flowers sa bezel yung naiwan na mixture sa lalagayan nabuo na at hindi na magamit. Sobrang init din nung mixture sa lalagyan. Ganun po ba talaga yun? Or may mali sa ginawa ko?
