How to Make Ribbon Roses - Ribbon Embroidery

I always thought those ribbon roses would be difficult to master. But here I am minutes after watching this video with 5 little organza (didn't have silk ribbon on hand, but organza seems fine to practice with) roses down. Definitely using this in future projects. Thanks!

Lovely!! One question: shall I use this on a collar, would you recommend doing it before or after completing the assembly of the collar? I have an idea for a collar with this technique :)

I would do it before the assembly of the collar, that way the ribbon work on the wrong side (which usually doesn't look great), will be hidden. As long as you keep the ribbon embroidery away from the seam allowance, you shouldn't have a problem. :)
