How to make Rimmed Soap - Handmade Cold Process Soap - Fraeulein Winter

This video shows the making of a Rimmed Cold Process Soap handmade by Fraeulein Winter.
It was the first time that I used a vegan soap recipe for the rim. The rim was surprisingly soft and easy to work with. But maybe it was a little bit too soft... For the rim, avoid additives like salt in your recipe.
The soap is scented with a Lily of the Valley fragrance and the soap rim shows a kind of Peacock Swirl.

Dankeschön, Mirjam 😘😘😘 Die Seife für die Hüllen decke ich gut ab (luftdicht) und stell sie dann kurz noch in den warmen Ofen. Dort lass ich sie auch meist für die nächsten 12-18 h ruhen.

Everytime a soap maker adds fragrance oil I cry on the inside as im allergic to it 😭 I love the design tough! But ill never be able to have one of those soaps in my home

Ich bin Österreicherin :))) In Deutschland und Österreich gibt's viele Onlineshops, die darauf spezialisiert sind (Manske, Behawe, Dragonspice, Waldhoe, Alexmo, Naturkosmetik-Werkstatt,...). Mittlerweile wird man sogar auf Ama... fündig.

Wunderschöne Seife! Kannst du was zu deinem Equipment sagen? Ich wüsste gerne, woher du die flache Form und die Plexiglasröhren hast. Auch der Seifenschneider interessiert mich. Ich suche schon seit Jahren nach einem vernünftigen, vor allem für horizontale Schnitte.

Hallo Donald, Acrylformen findet man online (Die Shops heißen teilweise sogar so). Die flache Form und der Seifenschneider waren selbstgemachte Geschenke.

@@FraeuleinWinter komm da iwie nicht mit der seite klar hast du da noch irgendeinen kontakt? der schneider ist der einzige den ich finde für horizontal und vertikal der ist glaube ich richtig praktisch da ich auch gerne mantelseifen mache . ich quäle mich immer etwas mit dünner schicht giessen
