Guys - the Nargis Kebab is basically an Indian spin on a scotch egg, spiced lamb mince instead of pork, something's served with a fried egg on top. They are insanely good. I'm a big fan of black pudding scotch eggs too - there are so many variations.

Can’t say I’ve ever seen a scotch egg served in a pub over here before! Good idea though, I’d quite happily have one with a pint. Not having a dig, but I’d say it’s more well known as a picnic snack in Britain. The idea is, it’s a portable lunch that’s filling and easy to take with you on the go.
@arniepetrie28663 жыл бұрын
Na they are served in pubs that have chefs with enough effort to make them... usually i make them with duck eggs and i make small ones with quail eggs. Depends whats about. They go great with chicken skin scratchings... and a pint of course. Hope you get the pleasure soon...

Never seen them in a traditional pub either. Maybe, you get them in some Southern pretentious 'Gastropub'. A bit like Ed's pretentious version of Scotch eggs in this video. That's not a tradional recipe.

@@overthewebb well you sound pretentious talking like that. If its a pissheads pub for pissheads maybe not, but dont knock good food in a pub til youve had it, doesnt have to be a gastro pub. Thanks though, you seem nice. I'll give your scotch egg to someone else...
