How To Make Sharbat E Falsa | Falsay Ka Sharbat Banane Ka Tarika

Sharbat-e-Falsa, also known as Falsay ka Sharbat, is a popular Pakistani and Indian drink made from the berries of the Falsa plant. It is refreshing and perfect for hot summer days. Here's a simple recipe to make Sharbat-e-Falsa:
Ingredients:
500 grams Falsa berries
1 liter water
1 cup sugar (adjust according to taste)
Juice of 2 lemons
A pinch of black salt (optional)
Ice cubes
Instructions:
Wash the Falsa berries thoroughly under running water to remove any dirt or impurities.
In a large pot, add the washed Falsa berries and water. Bring it to a boil over medium heat.
Once it starts boiling, reduce the heat to low and let it simmer for about 10 minutes. This will help soften the berries and extract their flavor.
After 10 minutes, remove the pot from the heat and let it cool down to room temperature.
Once cooled, strain the mixture through a fine-mesh sieve or cheesecloth into a separate container. Use the back of a spoon to extract as much juice as possible.
Add sugar to the Falsa juice and stir well until the sugar completely dissolves. You can adjust the amount of sugar according to your taste preference.
Squeeze the juice of 2 lemons into the Falsa mixture and stir again.
If desired, add a pinch of black salt to enhance the flavor. Black salt adds a tangy and slightly savory taste to the sharbat.
Pour the Sharbat-e-Falsa into serving glasses filled with ice cubes.
Garnish with a few Falsa berries and a slice of lemon, if desired.
Serve chilled and enjoy the refreshing Sharbat-e-Falsa!
Note: You can also refrigerate the Falsa juice before serving if you prefer it to be colder. Additionally, you can add a splash of rose water or a few mint leaves for extra flavor variation.
