Still confused on the layers and flattening procedure but this is definitely helpful!!!!

Glad it's helpful. Basically to do print then cut, you flatten all the layers into one so that it prints as a group and then cuts just the outside edge vs cutting each layer. I know it's confusing but give it a try. It will make sense. :)

You make it look so easy! I have the original Cricut Joy so this print and cut is new to me. Still a little fuzzy on the flattening part but I think I get it. I didn’t flatten the first time and ended up printing several offsets. Couldn’t figure out why! Do you have a book or manual? I would definitely buy it!

Thanks Wen! Yes, the Cricut Print and Cut feature is not available on the original Joy, so this is new territory for a lot of users. The layers, offsets, and flattening procedure is probably more complicated than it has to be, but for advanced users it offers interesting flexibility. I'm confused. Why do you need to send it to the printer? Can't you print the sticker straight from the cricut?

Trying to decide between this and Silhouette. So many people say Design Space software doesn't work a lot. Any thoughts?

From an ease of use standpoint, Design Space is easier. Silhouette has a LOT of functionality and can do so much more. I haven't heard much about Silhouette software not working, but I know Design Space has had issues here and there. It's usually resolved fairly quickly by the company.
