Dragon ball only worked bcoz it wasn't complicated , and we were kids back than - kids can't understand complicated things - even jojo's was there in 80s & 90s still it didn't got that famous bcoz it's power system , fight creativity is complicated asf Note : db was never meant for adult at all never , it was always & still for kids who can't understand complicated nature of other anime at all ( goku can't even solo other anime including the big 3 ) Db - ki beams , scream , bold statements with no visual feats , punch & kick There's no extraordinary thing in db at all as other anime - It's just famous bcoz of nostalgia now a days & fans who fail to realize that db isn't that good & make theory & power scaling around bold statements from side character's to keep there character relevant Db z fighter's demonstrated 0 visual universal & multiversal feats & proper mechanics & explination around it yeah 0 Bold statements from side character won't change a thing - if visually there isn't any good feats & mechanics at all Other anime including the big 3 has already surpassed db & your so , called goku in terms of universal & multiversal & beyond feats & even in mechanics around that feats & even in character development , storyline & good mind engaging full of curiosity fights Watch other anime , you'll realize how patetic db is compared to other anime People with toddler mind set supports db bcoz they can't understand complex nature of other anime at all .
