I would like to add some info for this bag making tutorial. I’ve made a bag like this before, but it has been years. Thank you for the video . I’ve been looking for this bag for a while as I have forgotten how it was put together!! Now I’ve made 2 since! A few notes to help others out. 1. If you are using fabric where both main and lining have a pattern, put right sides together to go through the handle opening. 2. I used a 1/4” seam allowance. I think the video shows 3/8”?? Not totally sure on that, but I suppose you could use up to 1/2” if you want. Just keep consistency. 3. On the bottom, I used 1 1/2” or 3.8 cm cut out. I just liked the wider bottom. 4. (Last one) I used medium weight fusible interfacing ironed on the main fabric. Cheers and have fun making this bag, it is nice and unique looking when done. Thanks again!!❤
