In a world where more and more people are being intolerants about food, these videos from the channel come to show that if its made with love and good ingredients, the body will never reject a good food; otherwise those grannies wouldn’t for sure lived for so long. Thank you so much for having the idea of showing it to the world. It made my busy day, a better day. ❤️

Yes, why not - the key is seasonality and /or availability of ingredients -and there are dozens of pasta and pulse combinations to be found throughout Italy. best wishes, Vicky

In traditional Italian households nonno (grandpa) is never to interfere with cooking. Nonna might beat him with the rolling pin if he tried to do that! (Italian sense of humour... but true🤣)

Thank you soooo much! I have been looking for this pasta recipe since I first had it in Montelepre 10 years ago. I was at a restaurant owned by the nephew of Salvatore Giuliano where some elderly women were making pasta by rolling it around long thin rods. I was fascinated. But I could never figure the name or exactly how it was supposed to be made.

I am a guy and like to cook and make pasta and I get many good ideas from these videos, my father was Siciliano and I never saw this bean sauce recipe, my mother is romana and she liked fava beans but never made this. PS How do you meet these woman to get them to do this for you.

We ask friends, friends of friends, total strangers, and also we contact local organisations and ask for introductions. The women then decide whether to decline or agree to filmed. 😊 best wishes, Vicky
