You proved with little scraps of fabric, a few threads and a lot of imagination you can create wonderful pieces of tiny art.

22:05 ... oh, my! PRICELESS! I have so many four-holed buttons, of all sorts! I will absolutely have to do this! When, I do not know, but it was a BIG surprise to me ... just so intriguing! I showed a video to my great-grandchildren (8 and 6) ... they LOVE watching the French Knot flowers being made. I can teach them!

Thank you! It’s sweet that you’re teaching your great grandchildren how to stitch. My grandmother taught me how to crochet. She also liked to sew.

@@cookingjennfer I want them to experience trying so that they will have options for creativity. This year I intend to also teach them how to weave rag rugs as well as paper bead rolling - - big plans, so little time! God is good - - we shall see what we shall see.

When you say, “2 strands” do you use 2 strands and feed it through to make 4? Or do you use 1 strand fed through the needle to make 2? Thanks. I’m new to all this.
@cookingjennfer8 ай бұрын
I use 2 strands to make 2. For 6 strands I like to use 3 and fold in half because I find it easier to pull through than using all 6 strands. For sewing thread I just fold it in half. Does that help?
