How to make Solaire of Astora’s Helmet(Dark Souls)

Awesome video, quick question, how long do you recommend letting the paint dry before applying any other materials on the helmet? also what did you use for the metallic/silver color? English is not my first language and subtitles aren't helping me understand that part. Thanks!

Thanks! It depends on you climate, but at I’d let paint dry for at least a couple hours. For the silver paint I just used some cheap acrylic silver paint from Walmart. Hope that helps

You inspired me to try and make my own Solaire helmet heheeha even though I' ve never made a cosplay before in my entire life, I'm going to try my best even if it doesn't turn out the greatest. Should I do this as a beginner or what should I try doing I sadly don't own a hot glue gun or a sawder thingy (the thing you used to make the scars on the helmet) idk if a regular glue specifically elmers glue may do the trick idk the spray don't look to hard to do but Idk i just really want to try out making my 1st cosplay badly. Sorry for rambling on I'm just really tempted to try something new. :'D

@@vodago I ended up making the helmet from scratch just paper mache, with aluminum and liquid glue which I'm proud of. Dude my Solaire Helmet saved my life not just from my depression but what I wanna do in life maybe some visual SFX or Idk but it gave me some idea on what I want to do. I posted a video a while back about my Solaire helm on my channel, but I it led me to ultimately create two more a Catarina Helmet and my own custom helmet should I make two videos about how I made them. My main concern is my phone storage, and should I continue making different forms of helmets or delve myself into building cosplay?
