too low amps will damage your phone and battery, too high will make it explode, constantly varying input will short your phone and turn into a brick, you need a constant steady source like a battery power bank. this is like a last resort if you dont have any other power source

Then it would shorten the battery life of the smartphone, it would have to be strong enough to provide sufficient amps, but not too high to burn the smartphone battery, I guess there is a range for it to safely provide amps

Ya, very simple. It would take forever, like 10 time more then your computer. so if your computer can charge your phone on USB 2.0 just over 1 hour, then it would take over 10 hours to charge your phone, and that if your phone is not using more mA/hour then this solar panel provides and hope it's a clear sunny day, if, it will take long.

Priyanka Choithani simple, take out your old power bank .Open it , take out the circuit board after that soldering the positive point and negative point of circuit board to positive and negative points of solar panel respectively. Buy a solar pannel of 5V from any hobby shop or buy it from eBay.

Not sure it will work, the loss in that circuit is big, especially the cheap powerbanks, instead just use a 7-8V panel and use an SMD 7805 with polyester capacitors or smaller 10microF capacitors,, should be better. Should you want a heat sink, just glue a foil under the panel.

well i have 5w 12v solar panel connected it into a car cigarette lighter phone charge and it supposed to output 1A although it does like less than 500mAh (which is the 1A phone charger in the wall plug) its around 150mAh if the phone is not open i would recommend 10w so its 2A it will probably be around 250-300 Which is about wall plug charging when everything on the phone is on

the solar pannel u have used is not sufficient to charge a mobile as it requires 5v and 1 amp and the pannel ampears may be 60 to 100 milli ampears,so it is not enough,charger indication will shows as charging but it is not enough to charge ,may be it takes to 2 days to charge 0 to 1%.
