Calm down and appreciate the respect Quang's giving us. He appreciated our culture enough to try it. He even gave the correct name "Soul Food" instead of southern cooking. And no we don't all cook the same, northern soul food has a different taste than southern soul food. Some people put sugar in their greens, my family doesn't boil or bake their bbq. It goes straight on the grill and it's tender. So enjoy him enjoying part of our legacy to the world of cuisine and send him some recipes. I would be tickled to see him do peach cobbler. Sending love and respect to my peoples and to Quang.

You put love into it. Food looked delicious and that chicken-oh yeah. I will give you a 7 out of 10 for my taste buds and soul food flavors and a 10 put of 10 for yours. 💳 You Soulfood card has arrived. Fyi, the pickle is what caused your card's delay in conjunction with the lack of black pepper in the macaroni and cheese. However, the crispy chicken and the smacking while eating combined with the scratch made cornbread earned you the prestigious "SoulFood" Card. #KeepSmackin

I dunno, personally I always eat a pickle with ribs.

You did good, son. I'm still a little lost on the pickle, but it is all good. You and the people down below had me crying. Go ahead and open your soul food restaurant, so of the best soul food I've had was from an Asian man. There used to be a restaurant a few years back in Oakland, CA and my friend and I went because it was a soul food/Chinese restaurant. We didn't know what to expect, but it was banging! We made the waitress bring him out, because we couldn't believe someone's granny wasn't back there. He told us how his best friend in the Navy taught him how to make soul food and told him to open up a restaurant, I'm glad he listened, 'cause that was some of the best Chinese food, too. Only thing Quang, he made chitlins, you gonna have to make some of them, too. I'm a give you an eight and a half stars, wanted some rice with them black eyed peas and some cabbage, too.
