I am from South Georgia and had Brunswick Stew all my life growing up. It is absolutely delicious. The folk of old would crush/mash the hog head meat and all the vegetables that went into it as well. I would eat it with regular white bread. My husband and I still buy it from Rudy's BBQ (which tastes just like my Mama's stew)!!

I grew up eating brunswick stew in Roxboro, North Carolina and it was the best brunswick stew I ever ate. it had chicken, beef, pork, lima beans, corn, onions, potatoes, and tomatoes. It was thick and good. I now live in Tennessee and they don't know brunswick stew here.

I never learned to make it. My sister and I were talking about it not long ago. We would have to make it out of pork shoulder now instead of that fresh hoghead because of high blood pressure. That was some good eating! So glad you are sharing.

LOVED Harold's!!! When I go back home to Stone Mountain, we now go to Pippin's BBQ, in Conyers (I think). I love the old fashioned Brunswick stew! I remember Mama making a batch when I was little. She had that grinder that you attach to the table to grind all the pork, chicken, corn, onion and tomatoes up. I remember the mess ot made!! It was a lot of work, but man, was it worth it!!!!

yess, that's the way my mother and father use to make it!! They are from the south and my father would use to by half a hog head every year, even every new years we had it, they made it with corn, the Lima beans it was the best soup in the world! I never knew people even knew about it because people act like they didn't even know. That was the best stew i ever tasted in the world!!

I am from Alabama, born there and lived the first 50 years of my life on earth in Alabama and my daddy owned a BBQ business. He had a huge pit in the group behind the little building of his business and he slow cooked pork shoulders. From those we made pulled pork sandwiches and he cooked 4:53 Brunswick stew in a huge cast iron cauldron over a fire. Your stew recipe is a lot like my daddy’s 😍 except he had a secret recipe for his own BBQ sauce. If I was in Georgia instead of East Tennessee I would be hot footing it to your house for some stew 😋😂 Love you 😘 Outrageous blessings on you and your family 🙏💕

Hello! It's Roxana from Alabama! We have it all through out the year. My husband makes his like his Big Daddy. That's your granddaddy or great granddaddy in the South. Just like yours, but no peppers, ketchup instead of tomato paste. He uses pulled pork, sometimes left over pork chops and chicken thighs chopped. He eats crackers with his. I don't but corn bread sticks would be good. Love y'all, God Bless Y'all. Great Brunswick Stew recipe. Would eat yours all up. And my oldest daughter, this is her all time favorite. 🙏🤗♥️

I would think a meet and greet would be when everyone gets together with someone they admire on you tube. I have seen some of the other people talk about getting together with their followers from you tube. Dalen Spratt and his wife are having an opening of a pizza place they are opening and invited their you tube followers to come, I think you have enough people that follow you that it could be a success. Anyway just a thought. Hope your having a great day, tell the family hello from Texas... Love you guys.... Mike and Patty💜💜💜💜
