Fantistic tutorial! After searching to buy old gauges finding how expensive and not really accessable they are this is a quantum leap forward for my building/creating! Great job

Gesso will prep plastic for painting - it preps metal, plastic, fabric and gives it "tooth" so the paint will stick. Great video - I love your Welsh accent . Thanks for this .

Hi. Great bit of information and very well presented I might add. I had the same idea but I used the little 30mm tested posts for jams and the like. Gives the gauge a bit me depth ... I can't wait until August. I went as a spectator in 2018 and absolutely loved it. I'm 58 and hopefully (if I get a ticket) this will be my first of many events 🙂

Nice video, and yes, those are great to use, never thought of that. I use the plastic coin boxes that coin collectors use. From Ali or Temu, and I also buy clock hands there, also in bulk, very cheap. And I always Photoshop out the hands when I download a face from google.

Brilliant! The only challenging part would be finding an old 35 mm film container! Thanks so much for these easy and inexpensive tips/

I thought that a scalpel was only used in the medical field or clinics, hospital ? One learns something new everyday? I never stop learning thank you so much for posting this video it will come in handy when I start my next project! Please post some more tips much appreciative!

He doesn't mean a legitimate surgical scalpel (though I can understand the confusion), in stead he's referring to a type of a very sharp, precision craft knife which would make the cutting very easy and accurate. I hope this helps.

It's pure fantasy and fiction. Don't muddy it all by comparing it to real history. It's like any alternate timeline. Drawing lines to any non fiction tarnishes the feelings one has when playing in or even living a fantasy.
